As an Art Director for games, I would oversee the direction and execution of interactive and performance marketing campaigns that included digital content and motion graphics across social-media platforms . I led a multidisciplinary team of designers and motion artists, collaborating closely with product marketing managers, user acquisition, and social media teams to develop impactful, brand-aligned campaigns. I ensured consistency across all creative assets while balancing strategic goals with innovative execution. In addition to guiding the creative process from concept through delivery, I mentored junior talent, championed design excellence, and stayed ahead of industry trends to continuously elevate our visual output.
On Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells, I partnered with product marketing leads to develop innovative video and static ad campaigns that aligned with our fast-paced monthly release cadence. I led a team of artists in storyboarding, designing, and animating compelling creatives from the ground up. A key strategic decision I championed was introducing the Dark Arts themes and characters like Voldemort and Lucius Malfoy—boldly shifting the game’s traditionally warm visual tone to explore the darker elements of the Harry Potter universe. These campaigns delivered some of the highest click-through rates and install performance in the game's lifecycle.
Bowtruckle Treetop was a standout feature on Harry Potter: Puzzles & Spells that my team and I were especially proud of, and I was committed to ensuring the marketing campaign matched the creativity and charm of the in-game event. I collaborated closely with product marketing management and acted as the creative lead to storyboard, design, rig, and animate custom creature assets specifically for a long-form promotional video. This cross-functional effort brought the Bowtruckle to life in a way that resonated with fans and elevated the overall campaign impact.
On Covet Fashion, I was responsible for maintaining the game's relevance, trend-awareness, and brand alignment in a fast-evolving lifestyle space. To support this, my team and I created compelling short-form video content that showcased seasonal, purchasable clothing collections—designed to drive player engagement, elevate brand perception, and boost in-game revenue. We utilized motion design strategies, VFX, and soothing audio to heighten the static imagery.
While working on FarmVille 2, I partnered closely with the product marketing manager to concept and produce short animated videos that helped grow the brand identity. I oversaw visual direction, storyboarding, and animation reviews to ensure each piece aligned with brand goals, captured the charm of the FarmVille universe, and drove player engagement across social channels.
I also led a team of artists to develop illustrations and a templated process social media platforms that informed players of the unique giveways, anniversay events, and game experiences that FarmVille 2 had to offer.
